    Topics I've Started

Looking for some people who'd like to share SEO experiences and perspectives with me

    03 December 2011 - 03:49 PM

Hi, I'm a friendly guy in his twenties who's been doing internet marketing for about three years. I've researched a lot about backlink building and lately I've been developing one of my own. Now I'm about to create an authority website and I'm interested in sharing experiences and ideas with some experienced people, preferably over Skype.

If you're interested please send me a pm.

    Is Article Spinning Really Neccesary?

    04 February 2011 - 06:55 PM

I'm going to create a whole bunch of small niche sites and I'll be creating links by submitting articles to around 50 web 2.0 sites. This way I'll have some relatively quick passive income that I can invest later in an authority website.

Now I'm debating about whether it is really necessary to spin my articles. Especially since The Best Spinner doesn't support the language my articles are written in. Spinning these articles manually will take up many, many hours.

Even though Adam Lasnik from Google stated back in 2006 that Google has ways of identifying similar pages and will index only one of them, this simply isn't true. Google indexes multiple versions of the same content all the time.

And that makes me wonder if Google will really devalue links from duplicate content in the future. It could be a natural occurrence that if an article is popular that many blog owners will post the article on their sites, and the links from these blogs could be a valid indicator that the article is of quality (as long as the article itself is of decent quality and relevant).

Since the most important unique factor is the title, I will however spin different versions of the titles of my articles. Instead of spinning my articles I think it's better to invest my time in creating links to my articles as that's a big factor in getting links indexed.

But yeah, what do you guys think? Any tips or suggestions?:D
