I read somewhere that Panda also had to do with how many new posts a site gets, but didn't see it expalined more. I am wondering, how many new posts per day is too many now? I am looking at doing 20ish new posts per day on a new site. I figure this isn't too many, but thought I would ask around.

    Thanks all.

I don't know if there's any limitation! You can easily post 2-3 articles a day! It would be best if you delete showing date on your posts. It definitely works.

If google is indexing those 20 per day keep it up. Otherwise I would slow down until they keep up.

Also SEWarrior as far as I know Google doesn't look at time stamp. They go by when they see it. Otherwise people would exploit that.

I think that there is no fix amount for submission ,but the the thing is that whatever you submit should be unique and meaningful. And then only it be helpful and provide the effective result.

Just like the others, I don't think the daily post matters much in SEO. It's just too easy to exploit. Matt Cutts also said that it doesn't matter how frequent your posts are if the posts aren't really fresh news.

I personally do schedule out a max of 2 unique post a day.
I also look at my competitors and check the size of their sites and try and make mine the same or bigger.

I think if you want to stay under the radar just do what a human would do in a day I am sure a human could pump out 10 post a day. But its not realistic for a human to write 100 or 1000 posts in a day.

    Hope that helps.

do you think a newspaper worries about how many articles they post per day? I think there is no relevancy. If I want to launch an online mag and employ 20 writes and require 5 articles a day, I fail to see the logic behind me getting penalized for posting 100 articles a day.

I really doubt Google cares how much content you're creating each day. What does matter, though, is that the content is unique.

In my opinion the more important is the quality of the content you are posting rather than the number. If you are writing 1 post and that is relevant to some hot topic in the Industry, it would be of more benefit as more people will search about it and it will soon reach the top search engine rankings.

You'd have to create hundreds, if not thousands, of new posts / pages a day to even have a chance of getting on Google's radar, IMO. (Since at that rate, I'm betting a lot of the content would be duped or poorly spun.)

if it's unique posts than it won't be a problem. panda will bother if your posts are plagiarized.

20 a day? That's a handful. For me, I'm just updating my website at 1 article a day.
