#128550 21K Site - Can Anyone Figure Out Where Their Traffic is Comming From?

Its definitely not coming from seo
even tho the seller clams it does ....

#128522 21K Site - Can Anyone Figure Out Where Their Traffic is Comming From?

Posted by WillJR on 30 November 2011 - 02:34 PM in Driving Traffic *WITHOUT* Google Organic SEO

    Hey Guys

I am always browsing successful flippa auctions for niche ideas and came across this one

    https://flippa.com/2...-dating-website

The seller clams he's done "seo" for those of us that actually know seo can see he clearly hasn't. The site has no pr and doesn't rank for any keywords if you do an semrush on this domain.

The only thing I think he could be doing to get traffic is twitter and fb. I've tried them in the past and just went back to seo. Just cause twitter traffic doesn't convert well for me (but maybe it does for this cpa off)

Anyways I thought this was interesting, If you guys have any idea on how this guy is bringing in all his traffic I'd love to hear it.

#127662 Case study - How did I rank a new EMD domain #1 in one month

    Great Post

    Very straight forward , Thanks

#127340 Build my Rank-My Initial feedback

Posted by WillJR on 20 November 2011 - 02:51 PM in Backlinking Tools, Software & Backlink Boosting

They provide exactly what they say on the sales page. - maybe a little bit of hype, but no fake claims.

Its 59/month only for access to their system. Writing each post or paying 2.50/link can add up quick. But that is not the issue the issue is the fact that on the sales page your told you will get only backlinks from PR1-6 which is only half true. Yes your backlinks are going to have PR while they are on the home page for 2-3 days but once they get bumped off they're just another PR 0. Which is a bit of a bait and switch .

I outsource all my work and the way I saw it 2.50/link from a page with pr was a good deal but not for a pr 0. You can buy over 2k decaptcha's and build a bunch of pr0 links at that rate.

#127305 Build my Rank-My Initial feedback

Posted by WillJR on 20 November 2011 - 06:03 AM in Backlinking Tools, Software & Backlink Boosting

I ve been testing it as well and I can't say I am blown away. I am really second thinking everything. Your absolutely right you're backlinks will drop to a PR0 after they fall off the homepage. Its kinda tricky how it works ....

My main issue is that I am paying 0.75/link through my outsources. I would gladly pay that for a PR1-6 as advertised but... there is no way I would pay that for a PR 0 which is what your ultimately really and truly left with.

I am even paying on the low side. They charge $2.50/link if you buy directly from them. I have about 300 posts published in a month and really haven't seen much serp increase . I am not sure if I will continue with them. I have traffic kaboom and find I get my money's worth with them.

#126903 How is this guy out ranking me !!

Posted by WillJR on 17 November 2011 - 01:12 AM in Getting From Page 1 Up To #1

His link velocity is better i think. If he built in one month half the links you built in 1 year, google will rank him thinking it's a "hotter" website, although you have better and more links than him.

That couldnt be the case because he hasn't build what I ve built in a year.

He has only 268 backlinks (pr0 and a single pr1)

I have 2,162 backlinks (with some high pr links)

#126747 How is this guy out ranking me !!

    Posted Image

My site is a PR 3 more backlinks and more backlinks with higher PR only thing he has on me is his site post is newer. My on page seo is still even better than his. His get a 80% with seo doctor and I am getting 100%

#126690 How is this guy out ranking me !!

Posted by WillJR on 15 November 2011 - 02:12 PM in Getting From Page 1 Up To #1

I've been rank #3 for my keyword for a while. I should be out ranking my competitor hes on a ".info" and I am on a ".com" . I know that's not to big of a deal but what really bothers me is my backlinks are ALOT more than his and I am sure the few backlinks he has are low pr.

This is his majestic seo detail

    Referring Domains

    85

    External Backlinks

    268

These are MY majestic seo details (My site is PR 3)

    Referring Domains

    254

    External Backlinks

    2,162

I honestly don't think he has high pr backlinks either(I'll update this when I get home) and I really don't want to slap a monthly homepage backlinks package on this site.

The only thing I see that could be a reason that he is out ranking me is his post date is more recent. We are both using wordpress and both are publish dates are in the meta desc.

I am thinking about putting some BMR backlinks to this site anyone got some advice

    #126087 Bmr

Posted by WillJR on 10 November 2011 - 01:53 AM in Backlinking Tools, Software & Backlink Boosting

how much are you willing to pay ?

its a good investment to get your own if your serious about IM

#126086 Panda - How many new posts per day is too many?

Posted by WillJR on 10 November 2011 - 01:51 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

I personally do schedule out a max of 2 unique post a day.
I also look at my competitors and check the size of their sites and try and make mine the same or bigger.

I think if you want to stay under the radar just do what a human would do in a day I am sure a human could pump out 10 post a day. But its not realistic for a human to write 100 or 1000 posts in a day.

    Hope that helps.

    #125636 Testing SEO/ Backlinking Services

Posted by WillJR on 07 November 2011 - 03:40 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

it looks like Chris from Warrior Forum is doing well

how many packages have you order on Keyword 3

Do you hit a keyword again and again with this package only? if so are you doing it every 4 weeks or how often do you buy the packages?
I am curious. Great review by the way

#125550 Senuke noob - quality content?

Posted by WillJR on 06 November 2011 - 04:15 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

just try different things and see what works best for you
there is no better answer to your question then self testing.

I personally post all unique content to my own sites first then spin and use senuke after my unique stuff has been indexed.

#125275 What to do with $3,000- a new case study.

Posted by WillJR on 04 November 2011 - 01:29 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

    bSeolized fantomas shadowMaker

Looks really good I just bookmarked it
I am assuming it only builds the site for you and creates 100% unique content from what I understood(sheduals unique post and redirects real visitors)

you'll still need to build your backlinks tho or the site won't rank am I right ? or does the software build backlinks too ?

    #123758 Panda or Penalty?

Posted by WillJR on 25 October 2011 - 12:42 PM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

I am having this same problem

    I had a site
    #1 drop to 20-30

I ve been building backlinks still and now I am
    #3

Add more links is the only thing you can really do

if your #40 your still in the index (this is good) keep building links you'll see through the dance

#123696 What to do with $3,000- a new case study.

Posted by WillJR on 25 October 2011 - 03:32 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

Looks great , I would through SENuke X in the mix

    This should be interesting.
I've never had success autoblogging I keep it white hat with my content(only unique) that goes on my site. Linkbuilding I go blackhat.

#122111 [Case Study] Will Backlinks Help Me Recover From This October Panda Update?

Posted by WillJR on 15 October 2011 - 05:42 PM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

I have a site that was number 1 and droped to page 3 I just built more backlinks and so far its gotten back up to rank 3
I think all you can do is just build more links.

    Good luck

#121307 Doesn't a flood of new backlinks hurt your SEO?

Posted by WillJR on 12 October 2011 - 12:27 AM in FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About Backlinking

I am wondering how do you loose links?

you lose links when moderators take them down. If you submit a spun article it might get approved but at a second look they might choose to delete it if they think you are spamming same thing goes for profile links

    #120135 Is UAW Still Effective?

Posted by WillJR on 05 October 2011 - 02:07 PM in Article/Content Creation & Distribution

You have to be really careful and try the services out for youself

    You'll see case studies like
    http://backlinksforu...case-study.html

They are all "case studies" done by the owner. Never believe a sales man

    #119998 Is UAW Still Effective?

Posted by WillJR on 04 October 2011 - 10:22 PM in Article/Content Creation & Distribution

    I still use them
I would say they are effective as long as you index your links

more link diversity is always better, I wouldnt have it as my only way of backlinking

#119787 Google themselves say they perform manual reviews when it comes to spam

Posted by WillJR on 04 October 2011 - 03:46 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

How is anyone calling out GOY? He said from the start it was an algorithm, and the OP agrees an algorithm is involved.

This whole argument is STUPID. First of all, what kind of engineer with a masters or PHD creates an algorithm and doesn't test its output? Of course they are going to manually review what the algorithm gives out to see if its on track.

Most likely google created some math to find these HPBL networks, and the engineers look at the results and verify it is operating correctly, just like their other algorithms. There is nothing to argue about.

I agree on this being a very stupid argument. I think its all just out there to scare you. I haven't had much problem. I am with GOY on this one its just ridiculous for someone to think that your personally being manually reviewed when there are billions of keyword and billions of sites.

    WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW
Being a Google Autocompleter - YouTube

I just think it's healther to assume Google are telling the truth on this, and create sites as if they can stand up to a manual review.

I agree with you on this. The one thing that has always stuck with me is

"You don't have control over your backlinks BUT you do have control over whats on your site"

That being said if your scraping content/using duplicate content and claming it as your own ("autoblogging") - I can see people getting de-index for this

but I can't see someone getting de-indexed for having too many spammy links. If that where the case I would make a bunch of spammy links to my competitors and get them de-indexed (hense google knows you don't have controll over your backlinks)

    #117198 What is a QUALITY Link ?

Posted by WillJR on 22 September 2011 - 01:40 PM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

    Great replies guys

    Thanks

The biggest factor I take in account is the page pr and it looks like a lot of you guys do as well.

    #117088 What is a QUALITY Link ?

Posted by WillJR on 22 September 2011 - 03:36 AM in Main Backlinks & Linkbuilding Discussion

I read time and time again to build more quality links to your site

Yet I've never really gotten a good description of a quality link. I ve always read that one quality link is equal to bunch of low quality links.

What defines a link as a "quality" link? is it page PR ?

    For example

a fresh new ezine article with a page pr 0 vs a spammed pr4 blog backlink
(which has more "quality" -same anchor text)

#116030 Did you know you're paying $215 to have your articles written in the Philippe...

I am with jaxstar on this one.

I donno what your point of this post is. If you feel ripped off paying 215 pesos ($5 usd) then don't do it.
